Absolutely brilliant colors and hand painted enamel. As usual, my pictures do not due show the true colors

If there ever were a lover’s steinkrug, this design is it!

Excellent condition all the way around

Germany and the “12” on base. Not sure if the 12 means it was made in 1912 or it’s just a mold extension number?

Beautiful stoneware steinkrug with young couple

I think the translation is something like: "Oh that they are forever green — The good times of the young".

I would greatly appreciate any additional information on this steinkrug as I don’t have much on it. Thank you. Ideally, who made it, who is the designer? Its age? What does the “Germany” and the “12” inform us of? Does the lid help further identify this steinkrug as? Please see all pictures.
