Very distinctive capacity mark and no calibration mark.

Looks like small 1-2”” hairline crack repaired near base, barely visible and cannot be felt.

The patina on this lid is quite dark so the lighting distorts real color

No mark underneath lid. Super clean amd well cared for inside and out.

This is a Villeroy & Boch Mettlach stein. Base has a bright and clear green ink stamp.

Very rare measurement: 0.45 L.

Age: The base displays a 99. For Mettlach, that is year 1899.

If anyone can provide further information, especially on the mold letter/number extension, designer…
