Marzi & Remy made steins 1879-1994. This "Grotesques with Saying" is about 5-3/4 tall. It has a small 1/2L capacity mark and #841 on the base. No makers mark or Germany. In 1887 it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all exports. This stein may have been made 1879-1886.
