The lid relief, entitled Figur mit Kegelmütze (Figure with Conical Hat), is the third in a series of ten depicting 15th century Moriskentänzer (Morris dancers). Created in 1480 by Erasmus Grasser, the original wood sculptures are currently housed in the collection of the City Museum of Munich. (BSL)
