The name of the Koenigliches (Kgl.) Hofbrauhaus was changed to the Staatliches Hofbrauhaus (Stl. or Staatl.) in 1939 when the Hofbrauhaus celebrated its 350th anniversary. ([link], retrieved 4 Nov 2021).
The lid depicts the statue "Bavaria" in the center flanked by the towers of the Frauenkirche on her right and skyline of Munich on her left.
It has a five ring open hinge with a Bavarian Lion thumblift.
