art nouveau stein with pewter lid and inscription on it: 44. HAUPTVERSAMMLUNG DES VEREINS DEUTSCHER INGENIEURE 1903 *MÜNCHEN HB* ( 44. General meeting of the association of German engineers 1903, Hofbrauhaus München). Mark inside the lid: Joh. Lindner Zinngiesserei München Holzstr. 11. The decoration on the front is a transfer print (man with tool bag, open end wrench and screwdriver) by Franz Ringer. Producer ink stamp by Th. Schmid Porzellan- und Glasmalerei (porcelain- and glasspainting) Müllerstr. 44, München. No mold no. Height 13,5 cm. Purchased bodies from Thewalt and Merkelbach & Wick are used by Th. Schmid.
