The mug was made in 1999 in Germany at the porcelain factory Albert Stahl & Co. in collaboration with the factory Porzellanmanufactur und Krugwerkstätten Thüringen (PKT). The model of this mug in the manufacturer's catalog has the number X203.
The mug model was designed by the designer James Lim.
The design includes detailed work: the "RIDE" patch on the eagle's vest, a tattoo on the arm, and a handle in the shape of a motorcycle chain.
The "Biker Eagle" mug was the first model in a special series created by artist James Lim: the "James Lim Biker Stein Series".
