Women's Happiness in the Capo di Monte Style.

On the outside of the bottom of the mug, there is a manufacturer's stamp. This stamp indicates that the product was made in Italy in the Capodimonte style by the company Keramos. The long-standing tradition of Capodimonte porcelain production dates back to the Bourbon dynasty in 1743, when King Charles Bourbon ordered the establishment of a porcelain factory in his royal residence, Capodimonte, in Naples. The goal was to achieve the same level of quality as the German porcelain produced by the Meissen factory. As a result, the Porcelain Factory in Capodimonte became the largest in Europe. During the Napoleonic Wars, many things changed. As a result, at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, the Capodimonte factory had many followers who imitated its style and quality of porcelain. These were official manufacturers. This allowed them to use the crowned letter N in their brand mark. The Italian porcelain factory Keramos was one of the earliest and most successful followers. Specially for the market of the Kingdom of Bavaria, the Keramos factory of Capodimonte developed a line of beer mugs by the middle of the 19th century, executed in the unique style of old masters. This mug in the catalog of that line is presented under the number 33. It is executed in high relief technique with the use of a large amount of paint with gilding. In the plot of the artistic design of the mug, motifs of ancient Greek myths are used. The lid is attached to the mug by a hinged device made of brass. This further emphasizes the atypical nature of the Keramos Capodimonte mugs for Bavarians.
