Nice cream color not reflected in pictures due to lighting.

Notice the book or diary in her hand.

The incised unique 1L and calibration marks are at an angle. Also notice how it’s narrower near the rim; I don’t have proper wording, but picture shows it.

Unique or different looking turn-lines / marks than what I usually see on my other steins.

I think these turned stoneware steins are so cool and I’m sure making them was a labor of love.

A beautiful and old 1L. Stoneware Masskrug/Maßkrug with pewter inlay lid. The porcelain design is of a beautiful woman with blue eyes, seemingly deep in thought over the diary or book in hand.

Unique 1L. capacity and calibration marks top/front of stein.

Late 1800s. More accurate dating is a work in progress.

As always, I welcome and appreciate your feedback! I would also appreciate translation of name engraved on rim of lid? I have difficulty deciphering the letter “font style” of the day. I can make some letters out, but not all.
