Marzi & Remy made steins 1879-1994. This "art nouveau Floral Design" stein is about 7-1/2" tall. It has a M&R logo,1L capacity mark and mold #1945 but no Germany. In 1887 it was required to have Germany or Made in Germany on all
exports. This stein was purchased on German ebay, so it doesn't have Germany on the bottom. It may have been made 1890-1910.

art nouveau style started in the 1880's, ornamental style of art that flourished between about 1890 and 1910 throughout Europe and the United States. art nouveau is characterized by its use of a long, sinuous, organic line and was employed most often in architecture, interior design, jewelry and glass design, posters, and illustration.
