An oval with P 07 on the strap was mark used by Pauson to indicate year of production, in this case, 1907. Reference: Strassberger, John. Prosit, Sep. 2024, pg. 6.
1 liter stein from about 1900 with a 5 pin open hinge. The pewter lid was produced by the firm Martin Pauson, Munich.
According to [Link] dampf_de/firmen4/firmadet46439.shtml, the brewery traces its history back to the Jörg Hafner brewery in 1490. Over the years the brewery merged, changed management and ownership. In 1880, the owner Wally Hierl and her son-in-law Jakob Heilmann formed the stock corporation
(Aktiengesellschaft) "Brauerei Zum bürgerlichen Bräuhaus".
It was acquired by Aktiengesellschaft zum Löwenbräu in 1920 and subsequently fully merged into their operations by December 1921.
