Glass stein "Aus Freundes Hand"

A very nice clear glass stein with intricate engraved decoration in a ruby red background. Phrase on the front "Aus Freundes Hand" ('Given by a friend').

Pewter lid with clear glass inlay. No maker's marks. Capacity mark not present, but circa 1/2 liter capacity.
Possibly made in Bohemia, circa 1860~1880.
