Jugendstil glass beer stein

A very nice beer stein made of glass.

It was made around 1895 ~ 1904 in the beautiful jugendstil (Art Nouvea) style.

The tang of the pewter lid is marked Pauson (decorating company).
Very nice shaped lid and thumbrest.

Inscriptions on the lid: 'Erinnerung a.d. schönen Tage. Munchen 1901 - 1904' (transl.: Remembering the beautiful days. Munich 1901-1904)

Especially pleasing to the eye is the base. It is colored in a lovely green, and it is not flat but it is sort of ribbed. All in all a lovely example of jugendstil glassware.
