A jugendstil stein, produced by Villeroy & Boch in their Mettlach factory (Germany).

The decor on this stein is wheat on a white background. It has a nice and uncommon thumblift.

The stein is marked on the base with the Mettlach factory mark, as well as the mold number 2891, a Roman numeral II (indicating 1/2 liter capacity, and the date number '04' (for 1904).

The height of the stein, excluding the lid is 16.7 centimeter.
