" the surprise " artist carl Schlesinger . True love story of, the trumpeter of säckingen . Book's , poem's , painting's , statues and even opera's are attributed to this story of Franz Werner Kirschner .

This stein was produced by Merkelbach & Wick, who produced steins between circa 1872 and 1921. This particular stein will probably date to around 1900.
